“Rebelling against fast-fashion;
fighting for a greener future.”

— Ratbag

Task

I was tasked with the challenge of branding Ratbag, infusing it with a vibrant and defiant visual identity. This project encompassed a complete design of the website, eye-catching print collateral, packaging and a business card.

The objective was to capture Ratbag's vivacious spirit and eco-conscious ethos, translating it into a striking and memorable brand image that resonated with Millennials and Gen Z consumers.

Moodboard

Typeface

Selecting a bold san-serif font was critical to convey the brand's futuristic, clean defiant image. These raw, sharp lines communicate clarity, confidence, command attention and emphasise the brand's unapologetic and assertive nature.

Logo

Numerous logo concepts were explored before settling on a simple yet powerful symbol—a triangle. The triangle symbolises the brand's strong non-conforming nature with its sharp angles and unyielding structure. Similarly, the circle with a transfigured corner is used to create visual contrast whilst depicting a mouse in its most geometric form.
